Used Vehicles - About 20% of an automotive dealership's revenue comes from its sales of used vehicles. AutoNation retailed $3.8 billion worth of used vehicles in 2002 -- more than any other single retailer. Parts and Service - About 12% of an automotive dealership's revenue comes from servicing vehicles, selling vehicle parts and performing collision repairs and other body work. AutoNation is America's largest provider of factory-authorized vehicle parts and services, generating $2.4 billion of parts and service revenue in 2002 -- more than any other single retailer. Finance and Insurance - About 3% of an automotive dealership's revenue comes from the origination of vehicle financing through third parties and through the sale of insurance and warranty products.
